The Boston Opera House Policies
- Some shows may not be appropriate for children of all ages. Please enquire at 617.259.3400.
- Regardless of age, everyone must have a ticket. No "babes in arms" will be allowed.
- Lap-sitting is not permitted. For family shows children under five will be allowed in
the theater but babes in arms are discouraged.
Family Series Children under 5 will be allowed in the theatre, however babes in arms are discouraged. Every patron regardless of age must have a ticket. Lap sitting is not permitted. Parents are asked to remove restless children from the theatre. For most shows children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the Boston Opera House.
Tips for Theatregoers
- Leave yourself enough time for traffic.
- Check local news for any changes in the Boston traffic flow.
- Check the date and time of the performance on tickets purchased.
- If you arrive late to your performance you may have to wait to be seated at appropriate breaks in the performance. Please arrive on time, no less than 15 minutes before curtain.
