The Opera House is located at 539 Washington Street, in the heart of Boston's theatre district. Opened in 1928, the venue has been host to everything from extrvagant vaudeville to a movie screen. Recent efforts to revitalize the venue have cemeted the Opera House's place in the culture of Boston. The 2009-2010 season will open up with Fiddler on the Roof, running from November 3rd until November 11th. In the Heights will be in town from January 12th through 24th. Returning to the Opera House, Young Frankenstein will make another appearance in Boston, running from April 20th to May second. Currently, the season is set to wrap with Grease from June 1st to 13th, but there is always room for more shows! Check back to see if any more theatre or concert events have been added.
