Please arrive on time out of courtesy for the performers and fellow audience members. We recommend arriving 40 minutes prior to curtain to allow plenty of time to park and get seated. Doors will open a half hour prior to the show time listed on your ticket. Arriving late may result in seating holds or alternate seating within the theatre. Admission or re-admission of latecomers is ultimately subject to the producers’ discretion and guidelines for each individual show.
What do I need to pick up my tickets? The box office requires a photo ID, the credit card the tickets were ordered with, and the Ticketmaster confirmation number.
I have seats 2 and 4 - are they next to each other? Yes. In the Boston Opera House, seats are numbered even on the right, odd on the left, and consecutive hundreds in the middle. Click here to view The Boston Opera House Seating Chart.
When is the Boston Opera House Box Office open? Normally, we are open Monday through Friday, 10am to 5pm. However, when we have a show, the box office is open until one half hour after the show begins.
What tickets does the Boston Opera House Box Office sell? The Boston Opera House box office sells tickets to all Boston Opera House shows except Boston Ballet tickets when they are not in residence. When there is a Boston Ballet show at the Boston Opera House, we sell tickets to that current production and upcoming Boston Ballet productions.
What forms of PAYMENT does the Boston Opera House Box Office accept? We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and cash. Note that credit cards must bear the name of the person purchasing the tickets. Checks are accepted only if the show you are attending is more than ten banking days away from the date of purchase.
